Stress Management

There are stress management techniques for everyone. Not everyone is comfortable with using what they see as public tactics such as going to the gym, seeing a counselor or a coach to relieve their stress. Stress, for many, is private. That's okay, too. There's a solution for everyone - even those who prefer to keep the things that are bothering them to themselves without letting the whole world in on their secret.

Take a look at these techniques and see if any will work for you:

1. One way for you to do this is by journaling your stress away. Research has proven that people who journal for two weeks felt relief from the stress they felt on a regular basis. When you journal, it can sometimes help you see a different side to things that you might not have been open to during moments of extreme stress, such as during the middle of an argument. The great thing about journaling is that there's no one way that's best - it's just whatever works for you. Try to write a little bit each day, even if it's only for 5-10 minutes. The more you write, the more stress-relieving benefits you'll gain!

2. Private time by yourself reflecting on what happened that causing you stress without dwelling on anything negative. Reflect and let go. Allow yourself to let go by simply saying those words either to your self or out loud "let go" these words can be magical if we let them. If a problem continues to trouble you and comes up persistently simply repeat the process.

3. Go outside calm your nerves. The only way to get the full benefit of nature is to experience it firsthand. You can't read about it, see photos or watch it on television and get the same stress-relieving effect. And while you're outdoors, stop, look and listen. Stop your brain from running at full tilt thinking about your task list or replaying that last irritating phone call. Look around you - really look. What do you see? A tree - what kind of tree? A bush with flowers? Did you see a squirrel playing under the tree? Watch him - squirrels tend to be entertaining and if you bring peanuts, the squirrel will put on a show for that treat.

And I'd like to invite you to use these techniques to keep your stress private.

And now I'd like to offer you more stress relief techniques that get results? Learn how to dramatically improve your stress relief results by claiming your FREE 5 Part customized home study course. You get instant access at => http://www.keytostressfreeliving.com

The Urgent Factor

The sense of urgency is the supreme motivator for anyone wanting to get something done. You can consider urgency a tool, you can use it to promote something for sale, or put the fire to a project to get something finished. Whatever the case, urgency is a secret weapon of all successful people. In the Home Based Business Industry it is like the air you breathe.

It is almost through a sort of hysteria produced by an induced sense of urgency that immediate emotional action takes place. Immediate emotional reaction is the jet fuel driving sales and performance. If a person can believe that there is always tomorrow then procrastination gets an ugly grip on the situation. Never settle for tomorrow do what you can today.

We are emotional beings and everything we do is somehow connected to how we feel about it. If the emotions are strong then great force is applied in the desired direction, where conversely weak emotions will produce little force. If we feel a deep sense of urgency, our emotions are high which causes some forceful action. It is only through this action we make progress.

Now how does this apply to sales? It is quite simple really urgency emotionally charges the buyers judgment. Once you have been able to connect on an emotional level with the buyer you have won the sale. This is a key fundamental in all sales. So whether the connection is one of love or of necessity it had better be emotionally charged.

So you have got the customer to buy from you, what now? Surely you have them on your list, and now is the time to work those emotions for all they are worth. You are trying to sell your products right? Not only do you want the customer to love your products, you need them to accept you as an authority. Should you be able to connect with your customer in this way back end sales should be a breeze.

After the first instance of urgency with your customer you have to do more priming of the pump. Remember if you push to hard right away you may lose them. Selling somebody something immediately after a purchase is many times the biggest turn off the consumer can face so tell the truth from the beginning about your product and what to expect from you. It is very disappointing to buy something, only to be redirected to a secondary landing page where you are immediately up sold. Think about how you would feel in the shoes of the customer. You just bought a car and now the salesman is trying to sell you tires.

Developing the sense of urgency in the customer is not as simple as many would like it to be. You must get inside of their mind before they even see your page. Once you are in their shoes you have to decide what are the key motivators to give them the sense of urgency to influence them to buy your product. To do this you must have a sense of urgency to sell your product, without this emotional connection to your business your results will be minimal.

I leave you with a reason to seek urgency within. If you can find it within yourself you will have a far greater chance of bringing it out of your customer. Look inside at what causes you to become emotionally charged about the purchase of a product like the one you are selling. Your inner giant will give you all the answers you are looking for.

The need for urgency in life is unparalleled it is the single greatest force behind all success.

Tips on the Best Composite Deck Materials

The best composite decking materials are composed of different recycled materials, mainly plastics and wood. The best composite decking materials take away the problems of standard wood decking. Wood can fade, be a place mold to develop, crack and splinter. Wood decking requires seasonal treatment by sealing for the deck to maintain its original beauty, durability and feel. In the last 10 years when composite deck materials came to the marketplace, consumers were given some relief from these common maintenance problems typically associated with wood deck materials.

Composite deck materials are generally a bit more expensive than wood materials. The extra cost (sometimes 2 -3 times the cost of wood deck materials) is offset by the money saved in that you do not have the maintenance costs of wood with composite deck materials, it won't deteriorate over time (although some wood deck materials have a long life span) by cracking or splintering requiring replacement. The best composite deck materials have uniform coloring that will last the lifetime of the material.

There are almost a dozen different brands of composite deck materials for the consumer to choose from. The choices are quite broad and can be overwhelming. Some brands manufacture only the deck boards, while others provide a complete system including matching railings, and other decorative components to truly customize your deck. Some are more structurally sound, although most will stand up to the most rigid consumer standards and tests. All offer a wide choice in color and texture, the choice is really up to the consumer and which brand will fit the end-users final design criteria.

Since composite deck materials were introduced, many of the leading manufacturers continue with aggressive in-house testing and support of their products to live up to tough industry standards and consumer demands. These products are now more resistant to staining, higher UV resistance (fading) and structural integrity over the life of the product.

Many of your big-box home improvement stores can provide you with a number of different brands to choose from. My suggestion is to talk to a local deck building contractor for suggestions from a professional installer. They have years of experience in working hands-on with the various composite decking materials and give you valuable information on what will work best in your particular geographic area and value for the money.

Hardwood Floors - Hot Tips To Save You Money

There are many types of hardwood floors available in the marketplace today. So how do you know which kind of hardwood flooring will be the right one for you? And hardwood floors offer an incredible array of aesthetic options, too.

Although plush carpeting is an easy alternative to floor decorations, many home decorators are now setting a new trend with beautiful hardwood flooring. There are many reasons to go with hardwood floors, such as the permanent value they add to your home, the easy care and easy cleaning, great style and durability and they're natural and safe for the environment too.

The cost can vary depending on whether or not you can find discounts or can buy it wholesale. If you know a building contractor or hardwood floor contractor, they may be able to help you get a nice discount where they buy their materials even if you do it yourself. Installing hardwood flooring in your home should be considered a long-term investment that will hold its value, or even increase the resale value of your home, well surpassing the installation cost of the hardwood floors.

After all wood is wood, and what can be more ecologically clean than natural wood planks after very little chemical processing? For the healthy minded, there are much lower levels of chemical emissions from natural wood products. The cost of hardwood flooring depends on what type you choose.

Many of the hardwood flooring retailers and manufacturers offer good discounts if you have a lot of square footage. If you're thinking about a do-it-yourself project and you're handy with tools, you can learn how to install hardwood flooring with a few of the proper tools like sanders, nailers, or nail guns, etc. which you can easily rent or borrow. Some of the most popular hardwood floor manufacturers include Bruce, Shaw, Mohawk, Mannington and Armstrong.

When shopping for new wood flooring you want to check for special discounts or coupons from the many retailers and manufacturers both online and offline. Many people are now installing hardwood floors in their kitchen too and they can also be installed over concrete. Your new flooring may need a few refinishing, sanding and finish coats over the years. When you consider that carpets and vinyl floors will need to be replaced at least three or four times in that same time period, the long run costs of hardwood flooring seem very economical.

Besides the floor coverings that have been traditionally used in the past, there are now many new styles and materials of flooring to choose from that can definitely add to the style of any room. Hardwoods can give a room an expensive and high quality finish that's usually only connected to higher-end apartments and designer homes. But first of all you need to find a reputable hardwood floor company to help design and create the type of flooring that you want, unless you're experienced enough to forge ahead..

Most hardwood floors almost never need replacement and can add thousands of dollars to the value of any home. And hardwood flooring is the healthiest choice for interior living, especially if you have children in the home.

And with today's advanced wood flooring stains and finishes, cleaning your wood floors has never been easier. If you're looking for a great way to improve the look, the durability and the value of your home, hardwood floors are definitely the way to go. And wood is a wonderful natural resource that is both renewable and recyclable.

Serving Our World

Servitude is a nature almost forgotten by the living generations. The "me" mantra is so strong in society that society is crumbling because of it, and worse yet so is the planets ecological systems. Never before in history has self-serving greed been so rampant. We all know there are problems, we all know something needs to be done, but we all keep living as if nothing is happening.

It is only through the simple act of service that real progress can be made. A thorough and complete paradigm shift must take place within mankind for our species to survive the coming challenges. For the first time in history the call to serve one another and the planet is no longer an option. Whether anyone would like to face it or not this kind of service only comes from being connected to the one who brought all things into being. God always has been the answer to all of mans needs.

With a world of so many faiths how can one know what is the right faith to choose? This is the question that has started wars and caused many problems since time began. Where can man find this answer? We find the answer in our hearts and not in the schemes of man. By observing the worlds religions it is obvious that corruption exists at the highest levels. It has always been there.

The true religion isn't in a building or on a TV channel although it might be. The true religion is one that reaches out to all, and all around them wonder. You can see these people everywhere from every walk of life, every faith, every social station, and every age. These people of the true faith believe in loving others, serving others, healing others, and most of all forgiving others. The make up the true church for all mankind and we are so blessed they are here.

Find the true church in your heart and give it freely. Find the peace that passes all understanding and let it shine from your face. The light we shine does pierce the darkness to heal our souls and our world.

Seek to serve.

Why Bathroom Remodeling Will Add Life to Your Home

There are many ways to remodel a bathroom and depending on how extensive of a remodel project you want, you could spend three or four times the normal amount if you are doing a lot of tile work, granite counters, new cabinetry, etc. Usually the older the bathroom the more extensive and expensive the remodel project will be.

There are so many things to consider when renovating your bathroom. Replacing the current window with a larger one will add light and also give you an opportunity to add a more energy efficient window. Maybe you can add a skylight, this is an excellent way to bring in more light and increase the feeling of spaciousness. Replacing fixtures with modern designs can make a bathroom more decorative and style that not only looks good, but is functional. There is a wide price range for light fixtures, so you can easily pick one that fits your budget. Replacing a toilet can be a simple thing if you avoid the most common mistakes made by many homeowners.

Remember, the door fixtures will be the first thing you see when you enter any room so you might want to start here! Remember, if you don't fell 100% comfortable with or confident in the possible outcome, stop and meet with your contractor immediately and discuss an alternative route. Piece of mind is priceless especially with a project of this importance. After all, it is your sanctuary.

A shower remodel is also a perfect time to experiment with shower heads. There are many types, styles and brands you can choose from. The type of concrete used for shower walls and floors is highly engineered and a must if your looking for the perfect job. Tiles are generally durable, and you won't have to worry about replacing them if you choose the right material.

Tile is also an area where you have a wide range of choices. From sheet linoleum to ceramic tile the choices are numerous. Tile mosaics are especially popular in Mediterranean style bathrooms. Tile can also be used as decorative design pieces (glazed, glass mosaic or quarry styles).

Bathroom flooring, more than anything else, can have a stunning effect on the overall look of a bathroom; choose bathroom flooring wisely and you will achieve the bathroom of your dreams? Many homeowners like to install below floor heating, which is recommended with a stone or concrete floor.

You can install hardwood floors on the floor of your Bathroom, provided that they are coated with a water-proof finish. Many people will opt for this type of flooring in this part of the house because it provides warmth and has the effect of creating a soft relaxing atmosphere.

Neutral colors are probably your best bet and will last for many years to come. Some contractors will recommend using self leveling cement but good old poured concrete screened floors is the only way to get that perfect job. Selecting a contractor by referrals is also the best way to choose the right company for the job.

One Option - A Sunbeam Humidifier

When purchasing a humidifier one brand to consider is a Sunbeam humidifier. Sunbeam humidifiers are available in warm mist or cool mist varieties. The units vary in size, dispensing enough water for small to large rooms. Some of the units include filters whereas some do not or have reusable filters within the machine.

One type of Sunbeam humidifier to choose from is the Warm Mist Vaporizer Humidifier. This unit is a basic steam humidifier. This means the base is filled with water and electricity boils the water sending it into the air as steam.

Another warm mist Sunbeam humidifier is the Water Steam Humidifier. This unit is also a steam humidifier. The only difference is it covers a larger area.

The Warm Mist Humidifier, a steam humidifier, is also a Sunbeam humidifier. It can run for 16 hours on one tank and releases 3 gallons of water into the air.

The Cool Mist Impeller Humidifier is another type of Sunbeam humidifier. Impeller technology is when rotating disks fling water at a diffuser that breaks the water into fine droplets that float into the air. The water is sent into the air cool, not heated. The impeller disk evenly distributes the water into the air. It also can run for 28 hours on one tank.

A more complex cool mist Sunbeam humidifier unit is the Cool Mist Humidifier with Permafilter Technology. This machine is slightly different because it filters the cold water as it leaves the machine. Most cool mist machines do not have a filter, but this filter is reusable so it will save you $60 a year.

Sunbeam humidifiers also offer the Ultrasonic Humidifier. Cool water is injected into the air via small vibrations created by the unit. This humidifier fills a medium or large room and can run for 27 hours on one tank.

Humidifiers are recommended for winter use. Low temperatures along with heating systems can create dry air. The dry air can lead to illness, nose bleeds, dry skin, cracked lips, and home damage.

Humidifiers put a certain percentage of moisture into the air depending on what you set it at. Some units can automatically determine how much the air is lacking. If your unit does not, you can buy a hygrometer that reads the amount of moisture in the air. Set your unit to add the amount needed to total between 30 and 50%.
